Is Short-Term Insurance for Me?
Short-term plans may be right for you if you’re:
- Between jobs and waiting for your new coverage to begin
- Turning 26 and no longer eligible to be on your parent’s insurance
- Graduating college
- Looking for coverage outside of the Open Enrollment Period and don’t have a qualifying life event1
- Under 65 and do not need coverage for pre-existing conditions
Important Things to Keep in Mind
Short-term plans do not cover pre-existing conditions and are medical underwritten. If you are looking for more comprehensive coverage, an Individual and Family plan may be right for you.
We also offer dental and vision plans that cover many preventive and major services that can strengthen your health coverage from your short-term plan. You will have the option to add this coverage when enrolling.
