Wellness Add-On Programs
On-site Health Screenings/Flu Shots
We work with credentialed vendors to offer workplace health screenings. Health professionals take participants’ measurements and then review individual results and offer helpful lifestyle changes. We also partner with an Ohio-based retail pharmacy for flu shot clinics.
On-site Mammography Screenings
Mammograms are currently the best way to detect breast cancer early, when it is most treatable. To help make these screenings convenient for your employees, Medical Mutual partners with providers around Ohio to offer mobile mammography units in one or more of our provider networks.
Employee Assistance Program
We offer access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to provide professional, confidential, short-term counseling services for employees and their families. The EAP is intended to help with a variety of life issues affecting employees’ emotional well-being. Using the EAP can help employees improve their coping skills and overall quality of life.
Health Coaching
Available as an add-on option with the Basics program, and included in the Prevention and Achievement programs, our Health Coaching program blends digital coaching with telephonic support to customize outreach based on each person’s health and engagement preferences. Members will receive a package of digital coaching campaigns and supplemental telephonic coaching to further extend the coaching tools available in our wellness program. These programs help individuals better understand their long-term health so they can work to achieve personal health goals and reduce their overall health risks.
Programs to Help Manage Chronic Conditions
We offer programs for members diagnosed with one or more chronic health condition(s) at various levels of risk stratification/complexity. Members are aligned with programs based on their primary chronic health condition such as: Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease, Diabetes, Hypertension and more. Integrated with our wellness offerings, these programs utilize digital, telephonic and in-person services to best engage, motivate and support members.
