Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans and Coverage
Medical Mutual offers a variety of Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Insurance plans to meet your health needs at prices that fit any budget. These plans save you money by covering costs that Original Medicare doesn't. You can even keep the doctors and hospitals you’ve come to know and trust if they accept Medicare. Plus, if you apply during your Initial Enrollment Period, your enrollment in the plan of your choice is guaranteed, regardless of your health.
Medicare Supplement Insurance Coverage
Original Medicare does not cover all your medical costs. A Medicare Supplement Insurance plan can help cover costs such as:
- Deductibles
- Copayments
- Coinsurance
- Extended hospital stays
- Care received while traveling outside the United States

Plan C* | Plan C has the same coverage as Plan A, but it also covers your Part A and Part B deductibles. Plan C is also more comprehensive, including skilled nursing care and emergency coverage when you're traveling abroad. |
Plan F* | Plan F also includes comprehensive coverage, but it is the only plan that pays the difference between Medicare-approved costs and what your doctor or healthcare provider charges. |
High-deductible Plan F* | High-deductible Plan F features all of the benefits of Plan F, but it has a higher deductible, which helps lower your monthly premium. |
Plan G | Plan G features comprehensive coverage and helps you pay for Part B excess charges, but you are responsible for paying your Medicare Part B deductible. |
Plan N | Plan N features many of the benefits of Plan F, but it has some cost-sharing features that help lower your monthly premiums. |
*Please note: Only applicants first eligible for Medicare before 2020 may purchase Plans C, F and High-deductible F.
