For many years, Medical Mutual has partnered with Ohio-based nonprofits to support, develop and expand a wide variety of free and low-cost services in the community for anyone needing help. Now, with MedMutual Resource Connect, we are directly connecting any individuals and families in need with those same nonprofits and services.
The MedMutual Resource Connect platform couples Medical Mutual’s extensive, curated network of community partners and programs with findhelp.org – America’s leading social care network, featuring more than 300,000 programs that provide help to millions of people across the country. The resulting tool is a free to use, easy to navigate, and hyperlocal platform that immediately connects users with resources like food pantries, housing assistance programs, job training, transportation and more in their own neighborhoods.

MedMutual Resource Connect is also free for nonprofits to use and offers features like appointment scheduling, as well as referral and outcome tracking tools. Programs like Direction Home Akron Canton, which serves older adults and people with disabilities, are already deepening the reach of their service offerings through the tool.
